Key to transform your project to research project

By reading the title you must be amazed that I am going to say something by following which you will be able to create your own research project and that too from one of your older projects. No that's not what I am about to say. I, further in this post, is going to say that how to utilize the human brains that you have got on your team to make a good project. Here, I am the best one in my team, so am speaking about the things in that manner. What I mean by the best one is, you are not only technically clever but also clever in moving your team forward in the way towards making your project happen. Good at interacting with people and also really good at crediting your team members. Also, the team leader should also discuss every bit of the project with his/her teammates. Otherwise, I have seen many people who are not valuing their team members i.e. they think that they are the only one who is able to understand the crazy things and not their mates. I personally have seen that kind of people who are very bad at crediting their own teammates or are very bad at making their teammates satisfied with whatever is going on.

Let me divert my discussion towards more specificity. I and my team members have recently come up with a project in the course named "Embedded System Design". Name is not yet decided on the project but the problem that we are about to solve is decided.

We are going to make a bot. It is not any normal bot but it will solve the maze (any unknown network of walls) and will communicate with the user about the shortest possible path through that maze and reach the other side of the maze.

Solving that maze was not anything new or fancy but the communication part where there is user interaction was the creative part of our project. By communication what I mean is, we want to show the map of the shortest possible path through that unknown network of the maze onto the screen of the locally connected device using XBee which allows us to transmit data on the web.

I will elaborate more on our idea of communication of our bot in the next post.
